TAMARA PEARSON
MARKETING MANAGER
Just like there’s no room for uncertainty on the back of a horse - thinking on your feet, ‘out of the box’ problem solving, and confidence are also the key ingredients in effective marketing.
Successful marketing is all about being creative, adaptable, and brave yet always willing to listen, learn and grow.
I will never settle for ‘good’ I will always work towards ‘great’! I’m practical and pragmatic. I don’t like shades of grey! If something isn’t working – I will always let you know. If you are onto something gold, I will push you to keep working towards platinum.
I don’t believe in bringing a problem to the table without also providing a solution (or three) to move forward. I pride myself on being open-minded, hard-working, passionate and energetic.
Although I can talk underwater with a mouth full of marbles, my ‘Super-Skill’ is actually listening. Listening to the needs and wants of a client and then putting practical, tactical and cost-effective solutions together to build exceptional marketing is my speciality.
I was born and raised in Orange. My family has been local for more than 40 years. I went on to study a Bachelor of Communications (Commercial Radio) at Charles Sturt University in Bathurst.
I have worked in a variety of sales and promotional roles in radio including metropolitan stations (WSFM and Today FM in Sydney) and regional Southern Cross Austereo in the Central West (radio and television).
Prior to joining Ready Marketing in my current role as the Marketing Manager, I gained valuable marketing and client engagement experience with a local not-for-profit Australian Disability Enterprise.
The creativity of the team and the dynamic atmosphere of Ready Marketing provides the essential ingredients required to bring ongoing marketing plans, vibrant campaigns and fruitful projects to life.
My role is to steer the ship as the essential link between client and creatives. I bring an innate local business understanding and an unwavering investment in regional and rural industry to the position. Working with local businesses to build stronger communities inspires me.
One of my main passions is event management. I have been involved with events for many years in both my work and ‘spare’ time from small-scale club horse events to national horse shows. I have enjoyed transferring those event skills to projects such as the Canowindra Balloon Challenge and The NSW Regional Technology Expo.
