Educating the Region
In June 2011, the construction of the first long day care centre for the little town of Warren in Western NSW began. By February 2012, Little Possums was opened for business with seven full time team members and two kids.
It wasn’t long before the community of Warren got on board to support the facility and Little Possums soon grew to provide early education to more than 100 families on a weekly basis offering high quality education and childcare via preschool and long day care.
In 2018, Little Possums approached Ready Marketing (formerly Adloyalty) to connect with the Warren community, build the brand, increase enrolments and overall awareness of the service.
Building on Solid Ground
Coming from early childhood, education and business backgrounds, the team at Little Possums were busy working in their business rather than on it. They were keen to get some marketing and communication strategies put in place and to upskill the team to continue to disseminate the important work they were doing and the excellent services on offer.
Key outcomes of the project were to increase the awareness of the service along with positioning Little Possums as ‘the’ local childcare experts.
Little Possums wanted to continue building on the strong relationships with parents and the community that had already been formed. Telling the story of the business, profiling the team members, and positioning the service as the trusted “go to” resource was all central to the brand building project.
- Developing a collaborative marketing and communication review, recommendations, and strategy to build a strong overall brand image.
- Successfully developing the look and feel of the brand through consistent graphic design across all platforms (newsletter, social media graphics and adhoc design).
- Building an understanding and upskilling staff via marketing and social media training.
